Hi, I am Solveig, the founder of English Yoga Meetup. I had my first yoga class in Zurich about 10 years ago and it was a desaster. I took a break for 6 years from the mat. During my travels in Asia in 2015 I slowly got into yoga by doing yoga at beautiful places outside. In 2017, I have done a sabbatical in Australia and did my 200 hrs teacher training in Byron Bay. I have worked in a retreat in Sydney, did some karma yoga in Adelaide and set up Frankfurt English Yoga Meetup back in my hometown after my return. I have attended further trainings in fascial yoga to learn more about how to deal naturally with chronic tensions. I have also attended a 50hrs training at Inside Yoga Frankfurt to teach Inside Yoga Flow, which is yoga on a beat. English Yoga Meetup is my side passion project and balance next to my corporate job.
Hi, I’m Doreen and I’m a certified and passionate yoga teacher. I started practicing yoga in 2013 when I did my Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. Yep, I hadn’t been practicing before. I actually just wanted to go to India in 2013 - and I found yoga! I fell in love with it and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. The main focus in my practice is on synchronizing every movement with the breath to really feel into your body and to be present in the present. It is a mixture of traditional Hatha yoga combined with some Vinyasa elements to create a nice little flow and give you a well-rounded combination of work-out and work-in.
Kasheena became a 200 Hr Certified Yoga Instructor in New York City at Circuit of Change Studio. There she developed her skills and knowledge as a Vinyasa teacher, creating dynamic, power sequences to challenge you both mentally and physically. We will work on building strength and cultivating concentration to unify all facets of self: mind, body, and spirit. She strives to give students an enriching experience while fusing it with a playful quality so you leave her class feeling nourished and restored.
Guzel encourages students to adopt growth mindset both on and off the mat. She invites her students to explore the freedom of movement, conscious breath and awaken curiosity about your own physical body and the mind. Guzel's approach is directed not only on building a strong physical practice, but also on learning new things on how your body and mind works, overcoming fear and judgement and ultimately finding the true self. Guzel first started practicing yoga in 2011 to cope with a challenging work in a big bank which helped her to overcome anxiety and stress-induced health problems. Guzel has completed 200 hour RYT qualification with Power Yoga Company in December 2015 with Erin Prichard and never looked back. Yoga practice transformed the way she thinks and the way she sees the world around her.

My name is Alison and I was born and raised in Colorado, USA. I've been an occupational therapist for 5 years and am fascinated by human movement. My yoga journey began about 3 years ago when I fell in love with the Vinyasa flow style of yoga. I love the connection with breath and body movement. I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Spain in the Frog Lotus Yoga (FLY) Vinyasa style. My classes focus on the breath, body, and mind connection through a fun and upbeat flow yoga practice that all levels can enjoy.
